The McNair High Achievers worked together to organize a Shoe Drive for the second year. Members of the Chick-Fil-A Leadership Academy, McNair Travel Club, McNair Cluster Student Leadership Council, National Beta Club & National Honor Society have collectively reached their local community to help developing nations create micro-enterprises with shoes. Last year they collected over 2,600 pairs & we need your help to surpass last year's efforts. You too can participate by donating gently worn or new shoes to McNair High School. The first shipment leaves Monday, February 25th so stop by soon!

The inspiration manifested when the McNair Travel Club went to Guatemala in 2016 to help build schools out of plastic bottles filled with inorganic trash. Students complete monthly impact projects while developing their leadership skills. They also participate in weekly presentation & communication skills workshops with Global Innovators LLC. The students are doing a great job representing their family, school & community. They want to see more positive news & are willing to be change agents to make a difference. I am proud of them & love seeing their bright smiles when they accomplish their goals!
