 McNair High Students travel to Savannah, Georgia to research Marine Biology, Oceanography & learn the history the city.

Looks like an amazing experience for these students. I’m sure everyone enjoyed themselves and learn a lot. Awesome job to everyone involved. Special recognition to Ms. Hastie for introducing many students to this type of environment. Job well done!!

Thank you so much for connecting me to our tour guide of 1st African Baptist Church. We learned so much history about the Underground Railroad & witnessed the airholes in the floor for slaves to breath during their passage. She explained the symbols in the quilt & challenged the students to read books from different perspectives.

I really enjoyed going to savannah it was very educational and fun! I learned a lot of new things and went to the beach.
