The National Beta Club of Dr. Ronald E. McNair High won 3 regional awards at the 2018 Jekyll Island Leadership Summit
Congratulations to the members of the National Beta Club at Dr. Ronald E. McNair High School! Jaylin, Shantaja & Tymia won Lead Outside the Box, Service Shapshot & Outstanding Leadership School which earned them national qualification to represent McNair in Savannah in June. While McNair was the only high school from Atlanta, they were inspired by Dekalb Academy of Technology & Environment who represented the middle schools well!
The students have been working hard all school year getting involved in more community service projects, leadership opportunities, impact projects, and communication skills workshops. They are definitely making a BIG DIFFERENCE in their school & community! Their classmates recognize that any of them can be the next leader by taking action.
The amazing Middle school students at Dekalb Academy of Technology & Environment won 4 awards...same 3 as McNair plus Rapid Response. Kudos to the staff & parents who contribute to the development of these bright young adults. They have a desire to learn, they are competitive & represented well!
